Compassion!

“But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus.” Ephesians 4:20-21 NASB

There have been so many dips and turns in my life; even a few full spins. Some were heartbreaking, some were wonderful, a few stopped my world for a season. Some helped me get over that high bar and back into the race that is set before me (Heb 12:1). I pray daily that I finish well.

I look around and see people of faith, people of stature, people I once thought of as role models – gifted and wise – falling because of decisions born out of pride, greed, lust or desire. What did they allow to come into their lives that turned them from their deep relationship with Christ and towards the life they have been counseling and teaching and even preaching against with such deep conviction??

A song came out many years ago called “Slow Fade”. Just one step towards temptation seems safe – but I have noticed that the 2nd, 3rd, 4th . . . . follow so quickly behind. They “Slow Faded” into a life they were never intended to experience. “But You Did Not Learn Christ In This Way.” (Eph 4:20)

Matthew 11:12 says that “The Kingdom Suffers Violence.” Our Faith leaders have been attacked physically, emotionally and spiritually to take away the essence of Holiness they walk in to bring truth to the world – to God’s Kingdom! That scripture continues with “and the violent take it by force.” We must recapture and take back the Truth, Love and Grace of the Kingdom by warring prayers and declarations. We must lift up our Pastors, our Spiritual Leaders, and our Teachers through deep warring prayers to give them the strength to continue the calling placed on their lives with unquestionable integrity!!

We must fight, with warring prayers, to bring back the prodigals who were gifted with heavy anointings that the enemy is trying to silence! We MUST look upon those who have stumbled, with the compassion of Jesus, to call them back into Grace, lifting them daily to restoration.

”But by the grace of God go I!” (John Bradford, 1555)

Pray daily for your own strength and God’s loving grace to keep all of us in the path we were called to before the creation of the earth! Compassion – Grace – Forgiveness – that is how we have been taught by Him to take the Kingdom back. It all begins with deep, dedicated, “not giving up” prayer. Join with me NOW, the Kingdom is at hand. It is NOT too late.
